We're Going To The Bahamas!

Just got home from Los Angeles. Marianne and I were able to get passports in less than a day! I'll share more of the story tomorrow. I am so tired (a good kind of tired) that I can barely think to type this. Check out Atlantis.com.

Keep walking!

There Is No Adult Content Here

While I have been blogging for a while, I had never encountered the warning before entering a Blogspot.com blog before. After creating this blog I found that warning every time I visited my blog and I noticed that not many people visited. Today I went in the back office and changed a Yes to a No in the "settings" section and now all is well. I have never intended for any of my blogs to have adult content and have never posted adult content (unless I have an unknown 2nd personality that takes over like that Christian Slater show). Hopefully, you no longer get a warning when you visit this blog either. I'll look more carefully at the boxes I check in the back office of my blogs from now on.

I'll take this opportunity to mention that you can visit my main blog, Big Man Walking, by clicking on the title of each post from now on.

Big Man Walking 1st Ever Blog Of The Week

"The Times of the Father" was the first post I read at Michael Kwamenah-poh's lifebeginzatpoetry.com. Here's a portion of the poem I encountered there:

The Times of the Father

It is not appointed unto you to know

The times or the seasons

The Father has put in his own power

The disease appointed unto man

Is to secure the harvest

Before the seed is in the ground

Imagination has from old

Approved the musings of man

Ere before prayer has from his lips escaped

Yet in his infinite wisdom

Did Imagination preserve to himself

The mystery of Times and Seasons

I have seen poetry online before and it isn't always pretty. I was happy (encouraged, really) to see a man of faith who could write poetry. While I don't claim to be a poetry critic, "I know what I like" as they say. If you are a person who believes in God I believe you will get a lot out of michaelkpoh's (his Twitter name) poetry and his blog. Unlike some who simply post their poem, michaelkpoh explains some of the God stuff behind it. Look his blog over. Read more than just the one poem. Visit more than once and read about him. He calls himself a mindset tutor and the motto of lifebeginzatpoetry is "your life is your Mindset". You can read more at the "about" page by clicking here.

Visit Big Man Walking to be encouraged in reaching your goals, especially in your health and wellness journey. Keep walking. Click here.
